QOTD, FOTD, & TOTD

Quote o' the Day

"I'd like to see a nude opera, because when they hit those high notes, I bet you can really see it in those genitals." ~Jack Handy

Funny o' the Day

Man who walk through airport turnstile sideways going to Bangkok.

Thought o' the Day

If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

Faith as I know it...: Reality sets in

I maintain a separate blog for the discussion of Faith -- a topic that I have long struggled with. While this might come off as a cynical tyrade, it isn't, I just had to get some honest feelings off of my chest.

Tony Blair: Under Siege

If only he had Steven Seagal to rescue him...

In reading today about the woes that Tony Blair faces with his upcoming bid for re-election, I became a bit dismayed at the thought that he might not win his bid -- simply due to his allegiance to the U.S. and a ill-advised trust in our president.

I have watched Mr. Blair on CSPAN's coverage of the House of Commons and on many press conferences. I have found him to be one of the most intelligent, spirited, passionate, and sincere leaders in recent memory. His only downfall is that he stood with the U.S. on falsified and inaccurate intelligence that was force-fed by a "leader" who would not be denied war.

The world as a whole is very lucky to have him. I hope that the people of Britain are wise enough to keep him.
